Why I love Christmas!

Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year, for some many reasons. Christmas music is so joyful and fun to listen to, and always makes me smile. The sales are amazing this time of year. All my favorite foods go on sale and all the great coupons come out. Of course you have to love the shopping. Whether its going out on Black Friday, hitting the malls during the weekend or just sitting in my pj's shopping on the computer. I enjoy baking with the kids and always having something yummy in the oven or the crockpot.

But my most favorite thing this time of year is all the special traditions and moments I have with my family. Every year we have a family tradition where on Thanksgiving my Mom buys all of us (and that all of us includes my brothers, my sister-in-laws, my neices and nephew, my own children, my husband, my step-sisters and myself) our own Christmas Ornaments. These ornaments represent us throughout the year. Whether it be an accomplishment we have achieved. A new hobby we found. A new addition to our own families. Could be something funny that happened in that year, a vacation we took, or anything that represents this time in our lives. We all open our ornaments and then when my Mom and Step-Father get their tree, we have our Annual Tree Decorating Get Together. Kids and Grandkids get together at my Mom's and have dinner and put on all our Yearly Ornaments on her tree. The grandkids love it.

Grammy and the Grandkids. Getting all the ornaments out and ready to go on the tree. Mr J is super excited as you can see. Miss K and Miss A are waiting patiently for their ornaments.

Mr J and Auntie Kate are decorating the tree. Grammy and Miss K are getting more ornaments ready.

Watch the "Grown" children hang their ornaments. Not sure who enjoys this more..us grown ups or the little ones.

Mr J is very proud of all his ornaments and how well he hangs them on the tree. This is serious business for him. Lucky man got to decorate 3 trees this year. Mommy's, Nana's and now Grammy's.

Miss A is looking for some more ornaments...

Auntie Jen helping Miss A put on some ornaments. Oh and if you look close enough you will see something very special on the top of the Christmas Tree...Tink!

Grammy and her "girls" (Miss K and Miss A) LOVE Tink..soo Grammy couldn't pass up getting this as her Tree Topper this year.

This is what I LOVE about Christmas.
